Is V.Aura Broken?? - Guild Wars Forums

Ive been using Verata's Aura and ive been noticing some strange behaviour but wasnt 100% sure until today, situation:

Ive cast V.aura to take some minions, before it ends I've recast it so that it doesnt run out. Now im guessing this is when the first cast V.Aura was supposed to run out, all my minions become masterless on their own but v.aura still shows as an active enchantment..

is this the proper behaviour or is it broken?

k thanx, personally i cant see a reason for this but at least i know its not broken (or its been broken for a long time)

Just curious: were the minions still in the area when you cast it the 2nd time?

sometimes they have been and other times not but doesnt make a difference either way

IMO V aura is a bad skill, screws up groups alot.It's only good for destroying MM's in AB and things.

yea thats where i use it, theres not really much use for it anywhere else imo

Ok...this is what I think:

You cast V. Aura and all the hostile minions become yours. When you recasted V. Aura, you were attempting to take more minions. The new minions lasted the listed amount of time. However, the old minions ran out of time, and therefore became hostile. IIRC, to keep them yours, you need to wait for them to be hostile before you use V. Aura.
